La Défense

Another lovely but exhausting day in Paris, the highlight of which was a trip to the theatre to see one of Lulabel's friends perform in The Addams Family musical. It was fantastic!

On the way back, while changing from train to tram at La Défense, we popped up from the bowels of the earth to see the modern architecture all around.

La Grande Arche, which faces l'Arc de Triomphe in the distance, is an ugly eyesore in comparison, but some of the other buildings are impressive.

Chilling tomorrow to let my poor feet recover!
