Lake Tekapo

Saturday at Tekapo a great day with the neighbours. Walking in the morning and in the afternoon a wonderful soak in the hot pools. On the way back from there we saw this great rainbow no time to change lens or get to abetter spot. So many people trying to capture it on phones and ipads etc.
The other extra is the view down the lake from my neighbours holiday home. What a delightful spot. The other two couples were staying in the really beautiful disability unit as Owen is a paraplegic. What a superb residence all set up with electric bed , wet shower and everything that was needed for his comfort.
That evening we had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, we certainly weren't slumming it.
