North downs

Mr U&L and I went for a day out ft Kent today , in search of orchids and churches - for me a match made in heaven!
My main blip today is a Man orchid Orchis anthropophora, growing in considerable numbers on the North downs chalk down land near Gillingham, it was really , really windy, but the views were amazing (See extra). 
I have also included a shot of  The beheading of St John church Doddington, which has not only a beautiful tower but the best wildlife graveyard in Kent! and quite rightly so...
