The Fife Show

Today our local agricultural show was being held on the outskirts of our town and thankfully despite a rather dubious weather forecast we only had one brief but quite heavy shower sending everyone scurrying to the exhibition tents - then the sun shone!

There was no shortage of blip subjects but I have chosen one of my favourite events the heavy horses in all their finery - this one came first in its class.

I have added a few extras - some beef cattle , the Aberdeen Angus and overall champion and some of the show dogs relaxing in the sun after the judging.
