Moving day

I had the settings all wrong as I noticed movement in the darkest trees on the edge of our property...I just managed a glimpse of what was going on...midmorning!

These raccoons are always on our deck at night, and I never knew which tree was their home. I watched the mother carefully carry her baby to a new tree, climb it, and settle into a lovely knothole halfway up!

So not a great photo, but a memorable event for me today. I showed my grandkids who are here at Gramma Camp, and we shared a nature moment!
