Highlight

The title has nothing to do with Mr Stewart's coiffure but refers to the fact that the highlight of Mrs F's day was the arrival of our tickets to see Rod at Plymouth next month.

Tess is a big Rod fan and the last time he appeared in our neck of the woods we had booked to go on holiday the day before so she was pretty keen to see him again this time. He always puts on a good live show so we're looking forward to a couple of days in Plymouth.

Despite the miserable weather, we managed an hour in the outdoor pool this morning then a visit to the garden centre to stock up on bedding plants this afternoon before the excitement of the FA Cup Final this evening - even if it was a ridiculous time to be playing it!
