Lion dancing in Newburgh

Big day today - the village gala. All the usual events, a tent with cakes and teas, a bouncy castle, singing, violin playing, drums, a fun run to the local castle and back, toasted marshmallows at the scout tent, football, archery, highland dancing. Sadly there was no beer tent, but the dancing lion made an appearance. The unfortunate children who had bagged the front seats had little idea as to what lions eat for afternoon tea! They know now!
