Spring in Dischma

Solid 9 hours of sleep. The small river nearby and the birds are the only sound we hear up here. Heaven! At home I hear the planes approaching Zurich airport from Asia shortly after 6am. I do not mind them when I have to work - I actually almost like them because I used to work for Swissair and I prefer the sound of approaching planes to the alarm clock. It's a perfect snooze functionality.

Today we got ready for the summer season first which meant preparing summer clothes, golf equipment and garden furnitures. Straight from the golf club we then walked into the Dischma valley to Teufi (light lunch with cheese salad and "Gitzi" sausage from the own farm) and back. Met JZ and GM on their bikes midway. Wonderful warm day. However the "sea" of mountain flowers are still to come.

Mid afternoon nap at home. AF will be coming for dinner. Plan is to serve white asparagus and salmon with a Merlot Bianco.
