Garden colour

Not all the plants we have put in the ground over the last few years have died. Indeed in places there are patches of colour. I've always loved irises and these have done well.
As you can see from the weight below, posting an image of a relatively large supper last night was clearly tempting fate and the weight has gone back up. To commiserate we thought we'd go out for a meal in our local restaurant/bar - slightly delayed by the arrival of our builder/friend Guy, his son and a mate for aperos - but clearly a greater being is on our side as there wasn't space in the inn. There has probably been an historical precedent for that....
