Made it through the winter

verbena bonariensis grows like a weed in my parents garden, but this is the first year I've managed to get it to survive the winter - probably because it really didn't get that cold for the first time in years.

Loved by bees and butterflies, so I'll have to see how many survived our atrocious summer weather & head into my garden
