We Have Lift Off!

Here you have His Lordship at Barra International Airport ascending the steps of the twin otter plane taking us back to Glasgow. We may not have been able to land on the beach on the way in, but we could, thanks to the weather, manage a take off from the sand this afternoon. The excitement was palpable- we were like a couple of kids being invited to travel into space.

The views were wonderful with minimal cloud the myriad of lochs sparkling in the sunshine as we flew over the inner Hebrides. Three buses and four hours later we were home with our memories to cherish.
