1. The day starts with a chain. Super Trouper for me, then Tower of Song and Tom Jones amazing new video. From there we're into Leonard Cohen territory. It's very difficult to find your way back.

2. Over to the west end for lunch with Karen. Both a little fragile after last night's excess, but a burger and a right proper west end stroll fixes things. Though not as much as the double cone from Nardinis fixes things.

3. During a guddle in relics, I spot this fella. A relic indeed.

4. On the way home on the bus I catch up with the news; Cav's done it, made it four in a row and Wiggins and Froome have made history. What a day. I wish we were in Paris.

5. Having mum's car means our shopping horizons expand. We head to Wholefoods in Giffnock. My god, this place is awesome but not as awesome as the Mexican feast it supplies.
