Canada gosling keeping watch!

The goslings are growing so quickly .... the Greyalgs are at the rather gangly stage and they have lost their baby colouring, the Canada goslings are still the lovely corn yellow and are the more attractive at the moment.

The exciting news is the arrival of the cygnets .... 5 this year.  Last year there was only one.  The parents were keeping their youngsters on the water at the far end of the loch so not too easy to get a good photo.  It's interesting but the various bird goups have their own nursery areas around the loch where the youngsters can paddle around at the edge.
