Opening Pandora's box

Once this box has been opened, there are several options available:

1.  devise a new version of noughts and crosses or

2.  establish how many symmetrical patters can be created with the nine pieces or

3.  eat the contents (this is not so easy, as the sequence of consumption is important) or

4.  close the box and give it to a friend.

If you have tried these before, options 1, 2 and 4 are no longer available to you.
