First Poppy

This poppy was in tight bud at the beginning of the week but it seems to have opened up overnight. It's friends are, quite sensibly, remaining firmly shut up. I love the beautiful centres of this variety which is why I decided on this close up today.

Apologies for lack of comments today, I have been gripped by Labyrinthitis yet again. I understand now why those suffering from seasickness just want to die!
