The town that makes a spectacle of itself

On our trip back to the UK we cross the Jura mountain range.
A small town there claims to have invented spectacle frames, and indeed there are still several factories there producing them.
At the entrance to the town they have created a huge pair of glasses, about 3 metres long and 2 wide, easily seen....!
