Aussie Azalea

I've always thought of azaleas as a very British choice of flowering shrub - so I was surprised to see them in many gardens in this region of Queensland, Australia. This one is in the garden of the house I rent here in Maleny. Although the summers are really far too hot for azaleas, they seem to get through and then enjoy flowering - as now - in the Aussie winter.
