Went bird watching this morning but there were no birds to be seen! They were being very noisy but keeping well hidden. We tried to track a cuckoo but had no luck.
There were however masses of insects and this ladybird was one of them. I like this image because it looks like I have played with it but it is straight out of the camera. To me it looks as if she is swimming through green water - or is that just me?
The air was absolutely full of dragon/damsel flies and mayflies.
