Afternoon Tea

The Upper Lake in the Gardens at Sheffield Park is partially drained at the moment, while work takes place to repair the banks. When I got there at around 3:30 today, the contractors had stopped for their afternoon tea break, and were (quite unselfconsciously) sharing some of their food with the ducks and the geese. The ducks were eagerly stretching their necks and jumping up for the food (as seen here) and some (as seen in today's 'Extra') were even flapping their wings in their excitement.
