Queen of the Night!

Sounds a bit voodoo but they are rather nearly black tulips. I suspect the bulbs would have changed hands for several kings ransoms in 16th century Holland!
This was taken in the Culross community garden during a dry spell this afternoon.
We went off for a short shopping expedition this evening and encountered some pretty heavy rain. Shortly after we got home, the sky cleared a bit and the sun shone. Typical!!!
