Good Morning Portsmouth

Once off the ferry, at around 7am, we first headed to Chichester, for breakfast with Pam who stayed with us a few weeks ago.
Then we went back to Portsmouth to see our recently widowed friend. She was just about holding it together and after she made some coffee, we sat in the garden and talked about how events had unfolded.
Then we all went out for some fish and chips at a local pub and a walk along the seafront. She was pleased to have escaped from the house for a few hours, where the phone rang constantly, and we were pleased to have spent some time together as we probably won't get the chance at the funeral which is expected to be an emotional time.
