Almost home!

Last leg of our cycle trip today from Bellingham to Corbridge. The forecast was predicting rain from mid afternoon so we wanted to get home as quickly as we could & we had less mileage to cover today. We passed through more beautiful Northumbrian countryside. It seemed the skies were full of skylarks, we spotted an enormous hare bounding across a field & gold finches flew from the undergrowth & raced along in front of us.
This is a selfie taken a few miles from home, after several takes! I have a few backblips to upload as was non existent & I look forward to catching up with your journals.
