Cow parsley
The sourdough loaf I made yesterday turned out well but it is already half gone! I spent the morning helping C. to butcher a small deer that he brought back from Northumberland. We now have about 5 kilos of venison each, most of which we will freeze. We minced quite a bit of it so I will make a cottage pie tomorrow. I did think of blipping the operation but some might not have appreciated that. In the afternoon I rang the bells for a memorial service at the church.
