What are you looking at? Part V
My officemate was telling me about this wonderland of crows a couple of streets over from the U. The baby and I have scouted it out thoroughly and it looked line an interesting place to photograph - crows everywhere. So today, I went back with my long lens and teleconverter, where I was confronted by a bunch of crows sitting in the middle of several pine trees, instead of the naked deciduous trees where they usually are. There was this one lone crow out cawing to his compatriots. Crows would start to land and then fly on. I think he was warning the other crows off. "Hey watch out, there is some human pointing something at us."
Anyway, he was well photographed. It was quite amazing how much he would puff up between caws and then deflate.
