Summer Has Arrived!

Apart from taking the dog for walks, and transporting kids it has been 'nose to the grindstone' to get the pictures done for the make-up artist (so she can get them in for her college finals) ............ not even time to get the kettle on (see extra).

This evening was the final competition at the camera club - to find the best image of the year.
Unfortunately, the judge had to pull out due to health issues and in their (lack of wisdom) the committee came up with the most convoluted and unthought out  knock-out system.
The Chairperson did her best to squew things the way she would have liked. She wasn't happy when people reigned her in. I was happy because my images (unexpectedly) got very close to the end. But the final winner was one of The Usual Suspects with a super shot of a sunset on Lewis.
