The Sky is Cryin'

The Ride of Silence was tonight.  It's a bicycle ride to commemorate cyclists who have been injured or killed in accidents with cars.The pink jersey bears the likeness of Megan Baab.  She was one such cyclist; she was a freshman in college on a cycling scholarship and was struck by a car during a training ride.  She was only 19.  Her father is a prominent supporter of the ride.

The ride started under cloudy skies.  As it progressed, a few drops turned into a steady drizzle.  It was almost as if the sky itself was in mourning for cyclists who'd lost their lives.
