Little green bug

Taken before work this morning.
Gorgeous morning; shame I had to go into work. Finished at 6pm and then went to homebase to buy some diy stuff for the garden. Worked outside until 9pm so have had to go with the little green bug on the fading cornflower.
Sad day today. Spoke with a friend who has recently been given the devastating news that he has terminal cancer of the pancreas. Little time left. I feel awful that it's taken me a week to speak with him. Tried writing but the words wouldn't come. He's been so good to me; helps me enormously in the garden, always willing to help and treating me with dignity. Can't begin to imagine what he is going through. Just hope I can help or support in some way.
