Peace Camp

S3 at Portree High School in Skye have been participating in Peace Camp .

Led by artist Caroline Dear and poet Padraig MacAoidh they have created an installation which responds to themes of place , love and peace. They have managed to incorporate local materials and something of the spirit of that great Skye man , the poet Sorley MacLean.

I was bowled over by it when I came across it at the Creative Scotland reception this evening , held as part of the Skye Cabinet.
