Feeling Jammy

Rain came on at about 9am this morning which meant zoo work was cancelled yet again. It then continued to fall throughout the day, yet I was hearing from TSP that down where he was it was roasting hot and sunny...hmph.
No work just meant that I got on with other important things like reading and finishing off making the jam from the strawberries I collected yesterday. It is actually really easy, at least the Delia recipe I was following was. Unfortunately there wasn't even enough strawberries to fill 2 whole jars. Saw on the news strawberry farmers have had severe losses and I'm not surprised!
