Bluebells

As the weather looked poor we decided to abandon our intention to go to Rannerdale and see the Bluebells.  Instead we opted to go to Ambleside where we would be under cover if it rained.   Before we left Clickychick decided to look at an email she had been sent which was to tell her where to go to see a good Bluebell wood.

Surprise surprise it was in the Ambleside area so having finished what we wanted to do in Ambleside we decided that even though the weather was still suggesting rain we would go and "suss out" the place prior to a future visit.

This turned out to be a good move as firstly the Bluebells are getting past their best and secondly the wood was very quiet (perhaps owing to the weather).  The only other people we saw were a couple of other photographers.  The rain held off and this is one of the shots I took.
