My pretend pets!

I grew up surrounded by animals. Im pretty sure we even had a cow called Daisy.

As a responsible adult, I also kept animals. Dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, snakes and even a ferret.

Then my life changed -almost overnight. It was called a cheating husband divorce. 

Now, my children are all grown up, my house is smaller and go out to work rather than stay at home and play mother and housewife.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy in my new life with my new  husband and my new home but there has always been something missing! Children and animals!

So I wait for grandchildren and I have pretend animals - even if it is a magpie!!!! This cheeky chappie was busy stealing the meal worms I put out for my pretend chickens! a little Robin. Not sure the Robin even got a look in!!!
