End of the Rainbow
Up in Dublin today, staying with the sister tonight. Poor Mags, she had to say goodbye to Blossom https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4746234 on Monday after 20 years, so we're having a glass or two in her honour. Saw one exhibition in the Gallery of Photography this afternoon. Called One Day in May it's a book and photos to celebrate/look at the marriage equality referendum this time last year. Just straight portraits (so to speak) of activists, families, public figures involved in gay rights. I found the words and images quite moving, one man married for 19 years before coming out. None of these images would have been comfortably displayed in public when I was young.
A few from today here.
