Nunington Hall

Thank you for joining in with the name the calf bit of fun yesterday. I enjoyed reading all the different suggestions.

The weather was rather showery today so I decided that an afternoon  visit to Nunnington Hall was called for. There was a Wildlife Photographic Exhibition in addition to the tour of the house and gardens. Well worth going to have a look if you are in the area. 

The gardens although small were also worth wandering through. Peter Rabbit and Mr McGregor were to be found in the kitchen gardens. In the orchard there was a wishing tree with lots of colourful ribbons tied onto the branches.

I liked this view of the house the best across the hedges.
