Room with a view!

This is the view of our garden and the river Derwent in Cockermouth.

The river is really low at the moment...quite a change from 5th December when it breached the £3million flood defenses and flooded our house and garden!

But the insurance company and our builders have been brilliant, and our house is looking lovelier than ever!

Our flood risk is 1 in 100 years...I may be in blip heaven when it floods again!
