Tour de Freeze

This bike stand at the end of Sauchiehall Street shows the reality of cycling in Tour de Freeze Scotland. Anyone taking a bike around Glasgow on this day after Wiggo's win deserves more than a yellow pullover. Leaning my Panasonic DMC-TZ20 compact camera on a litter bin I took 3 pictures at different exposures, later combining them into one image. Then I removed most of the colour to get across the complete grimness of the scene. I retained red simply because all photographs should have red in them. I was in the city to attend the excellent Glasgow School of Art Summer School. I came by train. I still got soaked.
