Morning Family Swim

I found a new family this morning.  Another sole gosling for this happy couple.  I wonder if they find it more stressful when left with only one?  In comparison, yesterday evening, I returned to the pond where the ducks have had 11 ducklings....to find that only two remain (see extra).  I am not at all surprised considering a hawk has been circling this area for the past couple of weeks.....sad, though.  Nature can be cruel.
