The Track by the Lake

It was sad to say goodbye to my friends from the North Island who have been staying with me over the last couple of days.  

After they left, I walked along this track by the lake to see if it was flooded with all the rain that we have had.  But no, it was still above the water level, but only just. The jetty further along this path is completely under the water.  There is more rain forecast again on Friday.  At the moment the sun is out, but it is very windy.  Another night in front of the fire is just the ticket.
