Sprinter

A Class 158 Express Sprinter  leaves Shipley for Leeds, the final leg of its journey from Appleby. The Settle-Carlisle route is still truncated north of Appleby at the moment, as it has been since Febrary 9th, due to the major landslip north of Armathwaite. There is a repair plan, but it will take many months so it's replacement buses for the Appleby-Carlisle leg for the forseeable future.

Meanwhile I hang around at the end of Platform 3 waiting for the Ilkley train.
