Play dates

A had his first proper play date today. Our usual music group had been cancelled so we invited his little singing partner and her mum to ours instead. We had a really nice time. I got to know Catherine a bit better and A was so happy to have a little friend to play with. He was great at sharing his toys and showing her how to use the trampoline. He was grinning constantly and was slightly showing off. It was good to see him so happy.

This afternoon P's school friend came for tea. We walked home from school, had a quick snack and then went to play. A little while later they re-emerged dressed as princesses and asked if A could be their prince. They then all went to play in the garden. As they were bouncing on the trampoline I could hear them asking A who he wanted to marry!
