Tiny Tuesday - Pencil Shaving

I fell asleep on the sofa last evening --- and woke up at 6.21am.  It was daylight outside of course and the birds were singing.  Then I went to bed and got up around noon.  A crazy " nights sleep".

Pottered around doing household jobs until around 4.30pm when I got the bus to Gateshead.  Bit of shopping in Tesco and then to the cinema.  Had a free ticket for a preview showing of " me before you" - a romantic drama.  I enjoyed it.

In case anyone wants to try and get free tickets for preview film showings you can register at showfilmfirst.com.  They regularly send out invites containing a code to apply for free tickets.  You do need to be quick when you get an e mail as tickets go fast.

Neil has been to Newcastle Races today.  There was racing on the new all weather track for the first time.  Neil isn't a fan of all weather tracks but he and his friends got a good deal including food so they thought it would be good day out.  Luckily the weather was nice.

I was sharpening some pencils this evening and thought the shavings would fit the bill for a Tiny Tuesday blip.  Reminds me of a limpet shell.  Thanks to Beckett who is hosting the challenge at the moment.
