Pink & perky

We planted a couple of rhododendrons at either side of the house, a couple of years ago when we had the driveway done.

The one to the right of the house was fine, but the one to the left, although it looked healthy enough when we bought it, had very little roots on it.

We bought them at the end of the season, so were really disheartened when the left one failed to flower last year.

This year though is a different story; it's actually flowered before the one on the right and given us these lovely pink flowers.

Hooray for nature! :-)
