Day eleven: Chance Encounters

Our final day was spent gently wandering around the centre of Budapest spending up the last bits of currency on coffee, cake, drinks, langos and souvenirs. We finally took a seat in Liberty Square and awaited for our ride to the airport in the company of an American president. Quite an educational statue as my own personal view of the man isn't particularly high and it was illuminating to find that some Hungarians view of the man was quite different.

This is just one of the things I have loved about Budapest...every time your come around a corner there is something else interesting, historical, quirky, beautiful or moving....and occasionally all of them at the same time.
