Have waited in all day for a phone call from my mother's GP to try and sort out why there still hasn't been a visit from the district nurse plus quite a few other things - still waiting but not holding my breath.  I am not impressed. 

Update - just heard the GP has now visited my mother and been in contact with my sister (and he did offer to phone me too but she quite rightly said she would fill me in) .  All is in hand so I was being quite unfair - the practice is very short staffed like many and they are  having to fire fight most of the time.
