Mono Monday: Week 121 .......

Wayside.


Tough challenge today! Even though I knew what wayside meant I had to Google it to get some ideas.  I settled for the phrase "by the wayside":  out of consideration :  into a condition of neglect or disuse —usually used with fall.

My first thought for "by the wayside" was this old 1800's wagon that we often see when we visit the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem.   This mode of transportation has definitely gone by the wayside!  And thank goodness for that!

And I think this entry qualifies for Derelict Sunday, too!
