Daddy and Ethan day

I was doing lots of overtime today. I usually do it in the evenings once Ethan is in bed, but had commited to do more hours than usual so had to work through the day. Hubbie had agreed to take Ethan out for the day to give me some peace and quiet.

I thought they were going to Almond Valley Heritage Centre and was surprised when they weren't home by the time I finished working. Still, gave me a chance to catch up on housework and then get dinner ready. But still no sign of them and no answer from hubbies mobile. Eventually he returned my calls at 5.30pm to say they wouldn't be home till much later as they were at his parents house in Doune. Ho hum!

Still, from the photos he took it looks like Ethan had fun. And he also got his belated birthday and Christmas pressies from his other Granny & Grandpa ... for Christmas 2011. As well as tons more trains for his Thomas train track which his Granny had found in her house. Typically some of them are ones I just paid a fortune for on eBay a few weeks back! Ah well - a boy can never have too many trains!
