Tiny Tuesday: a microcosmos

What happened in this little box (2 x 2 cm) made me very happy today: the aphids accepted a maple root I gave them for feeding! That means I am now able to feed these little ladies in the lab (= to keep them alive) and also collect their honeydew for analysis. Tiny steps forward!
