Is Common Grackle a backyard bully?

Terrible reviews this bird has.
Not only do they eat the feeders clean in minutes, but their aggressive behavior driving smaller birds away.
Maybe they are a reason why House Finches disappeared from my backyard.
P.S. In the early morning roofs were covered with frost. Oh well, starting tomorrow the weather should be nicer :)
