Loch Brandy

Starting the next 500
It was a local holiday today but the damp weather has returned. We decided to do one of our favourite walks, up to Loch Brandy and up to do a circuit of the rim of the corrie.
The basic walk is quite short but there is a fairly steep climb so it makes a good wallk for keeping fit when time is short or the weather not ideal. On a better or longer day the walk can be extended to Ben Tirran (when there are views like this), which also goes above Loch Wharral.
This gives a good impression of the day as the mist was coming and going, as was the rain (tho' with less going), and it was quite windy on top, a good workout and cobweb clearer.
