Back of the Royal Mile

I was on a station collection run tonight around 8pm so headed from work into town. The evening sunshine lit up the multi storied buildings nicely. Just further down the Royal Mile from here, under similar buildings is Mary King's Close which is an underground street and swellings over which more "modern" buildings have been erected.

Otherwise today involved lots of travel, especially when they cancelled the 07.57 train to Dumbarton. Still we made it in time for our interview with a very perceptive young last assisting us on the panel.
