Microscopic Monday.....

The vet and some final year students here this afternoon to brush up on their semen testing skills. They tested 4 Limousin bulls. 3 proved fertile enough, but the 4th (and best shaped one) wasn't over endowed. I didn't think he was up to the job, as when we PDd his mob of cows last week, none of them were more than 6-7 months when they should have been calving by now. Just as well we swapped a different bull in last September.
Long story short, this boy will be off to market next week and steak pies not long after .
